Project Description
After having started her season as Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, Valentina tackles another Mozart heroine: La Contessa! James Gray’s production of Le nozze di Figaro will be performed starting on November 5th at the Opéra de Laussane, followed by performances later in the month – and stretching into December – at the Opéra Royal de Versailles. Valentina and the certain members of the cast perform in both cities under the baton of Frank Beermann. Phillip Addis sings Il Conte, Robert Gleadow performs Figaro in both locations, while Lea Desandre sings Cherubino in Lausanne and Giuseppina Bridelli performs the role in Versailles, and the role of Susanna is performed by Arianna Vendittelli in Lausanne and Florie Valiquette in Versailles.
